Week 8 - Rainbows


Science: After rain comes a rainbow! Students are going to dye cups of water then place in paper and watch it turn into a beautiful rainbow!

Large Motor: This week Ms. Kelly planned a rainbow scavenger hunt! The kids have to hop, crawl, and jump all around the room to find different items on Ms. Kelly’s list.

Cooking: This week with Ms. Lily the kids will be able to make their very own rainbow parfait using fruity pebbles, yogurt, and bananas.

Math: Ms. Angelica has a ton of pom poms all colors of the rainbow! The students are going to need to help her count out all the pom poms so they can make rainbow.

Social Emotional: Each color of the rainbow can represent different emotions! In Ms. Emily’s activity the kid will coloring how they feel based on the colors of the rainbow.

Small Motor: In Ms. Kayla’s activity the kids will be using dotters to create their very own rainbows! They will be using red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

Literacy: Ms. Britney has all these plain rainbows and wants some help coloring them in, but before she can color she is going to have to trace all the colors in a rainbow.
