We have had a crazy start to spring preschool with all of our cold/snow days, so we are starting our blog up again. This week is circles week at preschool.

Large Motor

Ms. Gianna has a lesson filled with tons of twisting fun! The preschoolers will place their hands and feet on the correct circles for an exciting game of Twister!

Small Motor

Ms. Marlet is letting creativity run wild with circles this week. Using circle decorations and dotters, the preschoolers will be making a sun with a shining face.

Literacy

Ms. Jen makes letters fun all around! Using circles, the kids will connect the dots and write their letters using dotters and markers.

Math

Whack-a-Ball is more than a carnival game, Ms. Payton has turned it into a super fun counting game! The preschoolers will pick a card with a number on it and hit that amount of circle-shaped pink-pong balls into its hole.

Music

Ms. Vanessa will be singing a catchy tune with the preschoolers this week all about circles!

Social-Emotional

This week Ms. Britney is getting emotional with emojis. The preschoolers this week will be using circle-shaped emoticons to identify facial expressions and match them to their emotions.

Cooking

This week, Ms. Abigail has a tasty mid-day treat. The preschoolers will be using various circle-shaped foods to create animal face sandwiches.

Science

Have you ever seen a giant skittle? This week, Ms. Sara and Ms. Kaylie will be doing a science experiment using regular skittles where the preschoolers get to melt and make one big circle-shaped skittle!
