Week 7 Apples
Small Motor:
Apples aren’t only good for eating, they’re nice, cozy homes for worms too! In Ms. Gianna’s activity this week, the kids will be painting paper plate apples and a worm to live in it.
Literacy:
Apples on apples on apples! In Ms. Mikayla‘s activity, she will be telling a story about apples and animals and the kids will interact with props and spell out apple words together.
Math:
Apples come in all different shapes, sizes, and even colors! This week, Ms. Lily will be making different patterns with the preschoolers using red, green, and yellow apples of different shapes.
Cooking:
Apples are sweet, but they can be even sweeter! This week with Ms. Payton, the kids will be decorating their very own apples with caramel and chocolate to take home and enjoy.
Social-Emotional:
Our words can make us feel good, but sometimes they can hurt. In Ms. Abigail’s activity this week, the preschoolers are going to take a look inside the feelings of apples. They will listen to a story about apples and cut them open to see if they’re bruised or not depending on the words used on them.
Science:
From seed, to tree, to apple! This week in Ms. Jackie‘s activity the preschoolers will go through the exciting adventure of the life cycle of an apple and where it comes from!
